Angas Plains Wines wins another Gold this time at the Royal Sydney Wine Show

Angas Plains Estate PJ's Shiraz 2008 won gold. The judges have once again acknowledged the quality of wine that we can produce from Langhorne Creek. That is good news for everyone, we will allow this wine to mature in our cellar before officially releasing it however, it is labelled and can be shipped out now if you have space in your own cellar. It is under $20.00 per bottle or $239.40 per dozen direct from the cellar door. PH 08 8537 3159

Picking has commenced and the Chardonnay has been crushed, and we are now eagerly awaiting the ripening of our reds. 

Our Cabernet Sauvignon is very light this year due to the heat in November when the fruit was setting. The Shiraz set was good and early testing is showing that the Shiraz has great colour this year.

Grape Stomping Fun Lunch 7th March 2010

Each vintage we host our Grape Stomping Lunch and everyone is invited to get involved in the old traditional method of grape crushing using their bare feet.

We invite you to come and get involved make sure you give your tootsies a thorough scrub on Sunday, 7th March before making haste to Angas Plains Wines to get up to your ankles in grape juice. With the focus kept firmly on having the best kind of messy fun, the Angas Plains Wines annual grape stomping event kicks off at 12 noon.

Scrumptious Gourmet 3 course Lunch, Live music by Linda McCarthy and Grape Stomping.
