New Wine Release

Many have been waiting to try our new wine  PJ's Sparkling Cabernet Sauvignon.   It has been fermented to produce yeasty flavours and fine bubbles. The wine is now bottled and in our warehouse ready to go.

Wow we are excited, and hope you will be too.  We have popped the top of a couple and its yummy. When you pour a glass you can watch the bubbles rise to the top, showing a delicate cerise froth. The wine is a bright garnet colour and has authentic Cabernet characters of blackberries and  raspberries. It is light bodied making it a very enjoyable chilled drink .

Langhorne Creek Vignerons Race day is on the 20th November at the Strathalbyn Racing Club.    We now have the PJ's bubbles for everyone both white and red.  It is a fun race day so if you attending please make sure you visit Angas Plains Wines stand and have a glass with us.

Vineyard Update

Spring is here and there is a buzz in the air. 
The vines are growing well except where mother-nature intervened with a  frost that burnt off our fresh new shoots on a few hectares of our vines. This will reduce our crop for the season.

It is a great time to come for a drive as the surrounding district looks fantastic.

Cellar Door & Live Music
Cellar door is open 7 days per week so make a day of it and book in for lunch with friends. We would love to see you and you can purchase your wines for the festive season which is not far away.

Playing this Sunday the  30th October is Snooks La Vie & Nick Kipridi are an acoustic duo, respected artists amongst music lovers for their astute interpretation of roots based music. If Alt- country, blues, soul, western folk & swamp pop are your bag then don’t miss Nikko & Snooks perform their “blues, folk’n favourites at Angas Plains Wines.

Or if you like classical music we have arranged “a beautiful, relaxed afternoon of opera and popular Italian and German songs performed by some of Adelaide's up and coming musicians from the Elder Conservatorium of Music"  Sunday the 6th November it will be totally different for Angas Plains Wines. The performers are Sopranos Kate Wyatt  & Sharon Turley, Fiona McArdle – Alto, Jess Berney – Clarinet, Kenan Henderson,  Ann Lee & Jamie Cock on Piano.
