James Halliday one of Australia's most respected wine critic has awarded Angas Plains Estate with a 5 star winery rating. "Outstanding winery capable of producing wines of very high quality" Austalian Wine Companion 2010.
It confirms we are doing things right, producing quality wines consistently, for your enjoyment and its nice to have the wines being tasted early while we still have stock available for purchase.

Angas Plains Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Just bottled this vibrant fresh Sauvignon Blanc is reminiscent of spring and is a must to try. $14.95 per bottle.
Water remains our major issue, as many ask when talking to us. We are rejoicing that it has rained well in July and we have our dams full which is reassuring for the coming vintage.
Exciting news for all food lovers, Masterchef may have finished but we are sure the love of fine food will be around for ever. Judy's just ordered the new labels for the PJ's foods, and will be have them available at new outlets which we will list on our website also.

We are currently adding a food section to our website. Our Cabernet Jam is being re-branded as Cabernet Crush. We have many cusomer's who have told us they add it to many different dishes, so if you're willing to share your special recipe we would love to hear from you. We will be publishing recipes and ideas for serving our products, so send us a email and watch our website for the new PJ's Food section.
The products will all be available for tasting at cellar door and also used on our taste tempting menu. If you are too distant to visit you can shop online and we can send to you via Australia Post.
"I am really excited to be expanding my marketing of our Cabernet Sauvignon Jam to be called PJ's Cabernet Crush and PJ's Shiraz Garlic and Chilli Sauce. The new labels are very smart and we are really excited with the feedback given on the taste texture and look of all the products.
I am involved with a group of food specialists and other Fleurieu Peninsula food producers and it is very inspiring. It's important to me that my products contain natural wholesome produce, and are made like our grandmothers would have. It's funny saying that as now I am a grandmother myself and my grand kids are enjoying making food also" Judy said.
PJ's Shiraz Sauce or Shiraz Garlic & Chilli Sauce is a great sauce for Gourmet Pizza's it goes extremelly well with Camembert cheese, spinach and capsicum or as the kids like with Ham, Pineapple and Cheese.

Degustation by the Beach Wednesday 12 August 2009 6.30 pm Bec has their chef matching our wines with fine foods for a 5 Course Dinner served with Angas Plains Estate wines. We will be there to discuss the wines. The chef's will be using our products and we will showcase our PJ's range of foods. Langhorne Creek Cellar Treasure Weekend 15th & 16th August 2009 A great weekend to visit us and taste our hidden treasures. Phillip is ready to climb the cellar stairs and raid our Museum stock so we can offer you the opportunity to taste and purchase our aged reds. Maps will be available on the weekend showing where the treasures can be found.
