“There are only four events left in this inaugural program,” says Judy Cross,
“and we’ve been staggered by the consistent numbers of people attracted to the region.

“We think the intimacy of the events, the following of various performers, and the variety of the music styles, has been a key to the success.

“To think that gatherings of 50 to 60 people came into Langhorne Creek on Sundays throughout three different seasons to relax over a
inspiring lunch and laze on amongst the vines sipping Langhorne Creek varietal wines while listening to music,
excites us about the potential for this model to breathe extra life into this region.”

Judy says the Angas Plains Wines events are different from the large concert events
becoming fashionable at other wineries.
They are deliberately smaller events where people can relax without the need to queue up for anything.

Angas Plains Wines will then take a music break for vintage and focus on their grape harvest.
PJ’s Cellar- Langhorne Creek new music program will start again in the Autumn.
