COMING EVENTS
Phillip & Judy Cross like to host events which are good fun and designed for fun loving people who enjoy the experience of the great outdoors and enjoy Angas Plains Estate wines, which have all been made from estate grown grapes from Langhorne Creek.
PAST EVENTS
Grape Stomping 2008 was extremely hot 39 degrees and everyone made a day of it enjoying the scrumptious food by Zoots Café from Henely Beach. Linda still had the rockers up dancing and plenty of grapes were crushed. We don’t want to have another
day with such heat, it was a record breaking heat wave. Once in 50 years I hope.
Everyone kept cool either by enjoying being indoors or being sprayed with our precious water. Still an enjoyable fun day.
PJ's Spring Fling on the 30th September 2007 was held indoors due to strong prevailing winds. This didn't hinder the day, Linda entertained all with great music and our catering staff served a scrumptious lunch.
"Great afternoon, thanks for being such great hosts, we had a delightful day" Alan Legge Western Australian visiting tourist
Grape Stomping 2007 Sunday 11th March 2007 The day was quote "fantastic a great
fun day". A record was set with a very fit 89 year old man stomping and dancing on the grapes to the great music played and sang to him by our delightful Linda McCartney.
Our ye old dance floor just kept on overflowing with many dancing on the lawns.
The food wine and music was really sensational. Many have told us they will be back
next year.
Grape Stomping 2006 Sunday 12th March 2006 The weather was disgusting
with dust storms north east winds heat and rain however we managed to move
the event in doors and it was a even bigger success than the last year.
Linda McCarthy was at her all time best entertaining everyone. The food & wine was
a treat, however Phillip had the biggest treat helping all the lovely ladies out
of the stomping on the day. Some have already booked for next year.
Spring Shinding held 15th October 2005 Katrina Caton had the shed rocking
with the eclectic guitar and the old rock & roll. Our chefs served up a delicate
delight which went down a treat with the PJ’s wines.
Grape Stomping 2005 Fun Lunch held on the 13th March 2005 was a great success enjoyed by the group attending. Linda McCarthy entertained everyone all afternoon
with her music and songs. The food served was sensational and was a real treat when enjoyed with a glass of the fresh fruity PJ's Unwooded Chardonnay or one of the more serious red wines either the elegant PJ's Cabernet Sauvignon or the spicy PJ's Shiraz.
